Mobile Present Your Game

  • The Big Idea: My Big Idea was to make a game that would teach the player more about the First World War.
  • Research: The research that I made was very intense. I found a lot of information; the thing that shocked me the most is that Hitler could have been killed many years ago when he was a soldier possibly eradicating the possibilities of a future World War. Unfortunately he was not killed... soooooo yeahhh.
  • Making Decisions: My ideas changed my game on basically everything. At first I thought about making a strategic game, but later i came up with a different idea that changed my game completely.
  • Mastering Programming: Splash Screen, health bar, etc game ingredients in my game were not very hard to add, so i mastered programming pretty well.
  • Overcoming Challenges: There were no challenges at all! it was pretty easy overall.

Paper Prototype

Will objects be large or small? Small
How will that affect the number of objects? Not much
How will that affect the behavior of the objects? It won't affect it very much because all the items do is sit there and wait to get picked up.
How fast should the objects move? They won't move ^^^^

Did you discover any other interesting behaviors for your objects to make your game more interesting? No I just want them to stay and let the player pick up the objects to use them in the battlefield.

Game Quest

A quest for the player in my game would be infiltrating a enemy base posing as a very important General. The player will have to find information that can lead to secret military bases. Later he will have to escape the enemy base and return to our base with the new
intelligence he has acquired. Depending on what he finds the player will have to make many hard decisions to accomplish his missions that can affect his future game experience.

Designing side scrolling games/ game review?

A scrolling game for mobile would be a very fun but extremely difficult thing to do, but when compared to a console game... holy crap! There are many differences between these two like coding, art, and programming.
A design for my mobile side scrolling game would be about a kid running from unhealthy food while capturing healthy food. My design for a console would be almost the same but with a little more action! The player would maybe fight the unhealthy food or eat it....
My goal is to teach kids and teens to eat healthier foods.

Console and Computer Games

Video game are really fun to play, but... where are they most fun playing at? Maybe consoles like PS3? Xbox? or maybe the legendary PC? Debate has gone on and on and ON! Nobody can really come to a conclusion on this topic. In my opinion the PC is superior. Better graphics, more players on multiplayer servers and it's much more easy to play. The really big downside to a PC is the price of one. 600 - 2000 dollars for a good gaming computer...
But video game wise.... yeah I don't know :3

Hour of Code

I recognized Barack Obama, Michael Jordan and Shakira.
They were encouraging people to program stuff.
It's important to learn to program because many high paying jobs require this skill.
It will help you get a job.

Plan a game scene

The thing that excites me the most about my game is that I might finally finish my game this year.I wont be as good but I will work hard and I will get it done and feel proud for starting and finishing a game. What also excites me is what i'm teaching in the game, driving distracted by things that don't really matter have killed people. I hope my game reaches the minds of people in driving safely.
